In the women’s 4x200m freestyle relay, the team of Shirin, Shalini R Dixit, Naisha, and Hashika Ramachandra controlled the race from the start with a time of 8:54.85.
Their commanding demonstration earned a broad triumph and reinforced Karnataka’s amazing performance at this year’s event as well. In the men’s 4x200m freestyle relay as well as Karnataka’s Anish S Gowda,’ Barman S,’ Karthikeyan Nair, and Dharman S came out on top.
In the table with a time of 7:42:90, all four lead from the start. Keeping the challengers out of the competition, Knish, who had antecedently won the men’s 400m freestyle,’ helped the relay team win another gold medal for Karnataka.

Aneesh S Gowda Takes Men’s 400m Freestyle Title.
In the men’s 400m freestyle event, Anish S Gowda from Karnataka showed his endurance and speed with a time of 3:56:59 to win the gold medal.
Indian swimming star Gowda Maintained his lead from the start and finished well ahead of his rivals.
Dharman S, also from Karnataka, finished second in 4:01.39, highlighting Karnataka’s dominance in long-distance freestyle competition.

In the Women’s 200m competition,’ Karnataka’s Tanya Shadakshari clinched triumph with a time of 2:40:54, just ahead of Maharashtra’s Jyoti Bajirao Pas, who finished in 2:42:01. Shadakshari’s win added other gold to Karnataka’s tally,’ contributing to the state is control in both men’s and women’s categories on the opening day.
