Managing IMFA, the award seeks to encourage excellence in sports throughout the state.

The jury has unanimously picked Pratyasa Ray this year for her exceptional achievements at the Khelo India University Games.

In addition to the acclaimed Ekalabya Puraskar, Ray will receive a cash prize of ₹7 lakh, which represents an increase from the previous year’s award of ₹5 lakh, and a citation to be handed out at a later formal ceremony.

Honoring Other Athletes: Recognition for Dondapati Mrutyam Jayaram and Tanvi Patri

The Ekalabya Puraskar Committee will recognize sprinter Dondapati Mrutyam Jayaram and badminton player Tanvi Patri alongside Pratyasa Ray for their notable accomplishments in national and international events.
