2. Chamil Cooray

Chamil Darshana Cooray Bulathsinghalage is another popular carrom player from Sri Lanka. He gained popularity playing for the Sri Lanka national men’s carrom team.

His team, under his leadership, won the 2016 World Carrom Championship that was held in Birmingham, England.

He has become the only carrom player to have won the Swiss World League, thus proving that he is the most talented and dedicated leader.

3. K. Srinivas

K. Srinivas, the carrom champion of Hyderabad, India, has carved his name in history for his huge amount of men’s single and double conquests that span across continents.

4. S. Ilavazhagi

S. Ilavazhagi, born in 1984 in Tamil Nadu, India, represents one of the greatest women Carrom players ever to have played in the world.

She came into international limelight and stardom by winning the 2008 Carrom World Championship’s women’s singles title.

5. Nishantha Fernando

Nishantha Fernando is a world-renowned carom player from Sri Lanka. He turned into history by winning the 2012 Carrom World Championship in men’s singles.

He achieved fourth place in the men’s singles event in the 3rd SAARC Carrom championship held in the Maldives and later, under his belt, won the twice-held Men’s National Championship in the years 2007 and 2009.
