The PKL Season 11 player auction saw some interesting and tactical bidding moments as teams prepared for the next season.
Franchises went all out to buy their preferred players, and what came as the biggest surprise was Tamil Thalaivas’ decision to acquire raider Sachin Tanwar for ₹2. And he signed for 15 crore, thus turning into the costliest player of the season.
Tamil Thalaivas acquired Tamil Nadu Top Raider, ₹2.15 Crore for Sachin Tanwar.
Tamil Thalaivas was the centre of attention during the auction, where the franchise went all out and shelled out a record ₹2. 15 crore on Sachin Tanwar before the season was sold to Patna Pirates.
These dealings make Sachin the most expensive player for season 11 of the PKL Also on this line:
In a bid to boost its ranks for the coming PKL Season 11, Tamil Thalaivas have signed top Raiders Sachin Tewari along with Anil Kumar.
One of the best raider players of the game, Sachin’s acquisition of Thalaivas is likely to strengthen the team’s attack and make them a force to reckon with in the forthcoming season.
About Narender Kandola Amirhossein Bastami, the team has a balanced team of large and small people who can play Offense and Defence.
Haryana Steelers Sign Iranian All-Rounder Star Mohammedreza
Haryana Steelers made the biggest foreign purchase in the pro kabbadi league when they got Iranian all-rounder Mohammedreza Shadloui Chiyaneh for ₹ 2.07 crores.
Shadloui, named as the PKL 10 best defender, is a versatile player who can defend, raid and also take decisions.
Bengal Warriors keep Maninder Singh and acquire Fazel Atrachali.
Bengal Warriors had a good auction as they were able to keep their main raider, Maninder Singh, who has been single-handedly the best in PKL of the last five seasons.
Apart from Maninder, the Warriors had already had a great coup and openly contracted Iran’s record defender in PKL, Fazel Atrachali. Fazel will captain the side, and the other members of the defence area will be Nitesh Kumar and Mayur Kadam.

Bengaluru Bulls brought back the star raider Pardeep Narwal from the Patna Pirates.
The Bengaluru Bulls incidentally re-signed the former PKL Most Successful Raider crown-holder, popularly known as the ‘Dubki King’, Pardeep Narwal. Pardeep Narwal, who started with the Bulls, is back with the side after several seasons in the Pro Kabaddi League.
Apart from Pardeep, the Bulls brought in raider Ajinkya Pawar and spent a lot of money to acquire Jai Bhagwan. The Bulls, however, did not manage to hold on to Pawan Sehrawat, who Telugu Titans retained, but now have quite a number of raiders that they can use.
Gujarat Giants Acquired Guman Singh
Gujarat Giants made a big bet on a raider, Guman Singh, buying him for 1 crore rupees. 97 crore. One of the top 10 raiders last season, Guman will be the Giants’ new leader of the raiding department.
The team also kept Iranian all rounder Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibakhsh in the team and also included defensive players such as Sombir and Neeraj Kumar.
Puneri Paltan Stick with Their Championship-Winning Squad
Defending champions, Puneri Paltan played the auction cautiously as they retained most of their young title-winning squad. The Paltan added a few players, like raider Ajith Kumar, to an already strong lineup. With stars like Aslam Inamdar, Mohit Goyat, and Akash Shinde in the ranks, Puneri Paltan is all set to defend the crown and is likely to be the first team since Patna Pirates to win back-to-back kabbadi championships.
U Mumba Strengthen Defense with Sunil Kumar
U Mumba had one of the best auctions, where they were able to bag one of the most crucial players, Sunil Kumar, from Jaipur Pink Panthers’ PKL 9-winning team. Sunil was reunited with Parvesh Bhainswal in what could be the most feared defensive partnership in the Kabbadi league.
They have also reinforced their raiding unit through Manjeet and Iranian all-rounder Amirmohammad Zafardanesh.
Telugu Titans retain Pawan Sehrawat.
The Telugu Titans retained Pawan Sehrawat for ₹1.725 crore using their FBM card, which was a smart move. With Vijay Malik by his side, a top performer for the Titans should do well in the raiding department.
This time, the Titans further strengthened the defence area by inducting Krishan Dhull, the second-best defender from PKL 10. This team, under the veteran coaching of Krishan Kumar Hooda, will strive to break its streak of bottom-of-the-table finishes and make it into the playoffs for the first time.
The PKL Season 11 auction has been made the scene for some intense season to come. Tamil Thalaivas, especially in Sachin Tanwar, will be eagely watched along with other teams who have built for the new season.
