Warner, all explosive batting, was done by a wide delivery from Curran and hit a loopy catch to the waiting hands of Marcus Stoinis at the covers
His mesmerising bowling put the Melbourne Stars in a commanding position early on in the do-or-die match.
After winning the toss, the Stars preferred to bowl first and struck early with Curran’s important wicket.
The victorious team will meet the Sydney Sixers in the Challenger section of the ongoing BBL.
Such performances have made Curran one of the stars of this BBL season and fans can’t wait to see more of the young all-rounder.
Curran made his international debut for England in June 2017 and has played for teams like Surrey, Kolkata Knight Riders, Sydney Sixers, Rajasthan Royals, and Delhi Capitals in various leagues.
He is the son of former Zimbabwe international cricketer Kevin Curran and the brother of England and Surrey all-rounder Sam Curran
