This time ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which is to be played in Pakistan will start most likely from February 2025.

Officially next week the schedule of the tournament would be out. It is learned that an ICC delegation will visit Pakistan between November 10 to 12, 2024, and the arrangements and preparations for the event will be inspected.
Eight of the top teams will compete to give some glory in the Champions Trophy 2025, with the action spread across the three major cities of Pakistan Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
The biggest city, Lahore, has been slated to host most of the matches where the grand finale is also scheduled to be hosted; Karachi and Rawalpindi are slated to host some key group-stage games and semi-finals.

Suggested Schedule and Plan of Action
It is scheduled between 19 Feb – 9 Mar 2025 with a reserve day on the 10th of March.
According to the proposed schedule, the first match would likely fall on the 19 Feb.
The New Zealand team would likely face Pakistan at Karachi. On that very day, 20 Feb, Bangladesh would likely play India at Lahore.

Group A comprises Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand in Lahore and Rawalpindi.
The teams of England, South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan would be hosted by Group B in Karachi and Rawalpindi.
The semi-finals are planned for the 5th and 6th of March in Lahore and Rawalpindi respectively, the final match is also planned for the 9th of March in Lahore.
Venue and Host City
Karachi: 3 matches, which will be the tournament opener and one of the semi-finals.
Lahore: 7 matches, which includes the final
Rawalpindi: 5 matches, that would be the second semi-final.
India’s participation is yet to be confirmed. BCCI is still waiting for a nod from the government of India before announcing participation by India.
