Duleep Trophy has been very much part of and recognised Indian cricket circuit for quite some time now and has served as a breeding ground for young players to prove their worth for a national incumbent.

The official annual get together is important for this year, particularly because the team would be preparing for the home tie before the much-anticipated tour in Australia the following year.

It was redesigned as a round-robin working with 4 teams, including India A, India B, India C, and India D, to participate. It is believed that this change will bring a new dimension of novelty to the matches so that the game will be as interesting as ever.

Duleep Trophy 2024 will start on September 5, and the final match will be held on September 22. The two venues are Chinnaswamy Stadium at Bangalore and Rural Development Trust Stadium at Anantapur.
