Mona Agarwal Adds to India’s Shooting Glory

Mona Agarwal, in her first Paralympic Games, added to India’s success in Shooting by securing a bronze in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 category.

Mona produced a score of 228.7 in the finals, showcasing her potential to become one of India’s key assets in the years to come.

Silver for Manish Narwal in Men’s 10m Air Pistol

Continuing India’s success in the shooting range, Manish Narwal won a silver medal in the Men’s 10m Air Pistol SH1.

Manish, who rose to fame after winning gold at the Tokyo Paralympics in the Mixed Pistol SH1 event, has now become one of the few Indians to win multiple Paralympic medals, alongside Avani Lekhara and Devendra Jhajharia.


Bronze in Athletics by Preethi Pal

India’s success wasn’t limited to Shooting. Para-sprinter Preethi Pal opened India’s account in Athletics by winning a bronze medal in the Women’s 100m T35 event.
